MEET YOUR VETS
STEPHEN HOLLAND, DVM
My name is Stephen Holland, and I am a veterinarian and owner of Taney County Veterinary Service. I was raised in Taney County and graduated from Forsyth High School in 2009. In 2013, I graduated from Drury University in Springfield with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Global Studies. I attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri in Columbia and received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in the spring of 2017. Following graduation, I worked at a mixed animal practice in central Missouri until late 2018. During this time, I was able to gain great knowledge and practice working with two very experienced veterinarians. I then had the opportunity to move back home and start my own veterinary practice.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors at the farm, spending time with my family, and watching baseball. My favorite aspects of being a veterinarian include the variety of animals that I get to interact with and the opportunity to help the community by providing quality care to their pets and livestock.
MARIN HARMON, DVM
My name is Marin Harmon, and I am the newest veterinarian at the Taney County Veterinary Service. I grew up in Fair Grove, MO and graduated high school in 2009. I graduated from Drury University in Springfield, MO with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Global Studies. I attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbia and received both my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees in May 2019. While I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, my primary interests are small animals and horses. I also had a lot of exposure to exotic animals including big cats, elephants, snakes, birds, and more growing up and hope to work with these species throughout my career as a veterinarian.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors (swimming, fishing, horseback riding), spending time with family, and playing with our two dogs, Maverick and Paisley.
