ROUTINE MEDICINE
Just as in small animals, a thorough physical examination is important to the overall health of your horse. We also offer vaccinations, EIA (Coggins) testing, laboratory work, and deworming to enhance your horse’s quality of life.
DENTAL CARE
Our new power floats allow us to quickly perform routine dental procedures to improve your horse’s comfort in the bit and ability to eat.
SURGERY
We are able to perform routine surgical procedures in the field such as castrations and laceration repairs.
LAMENESS EXAM
Proper hoof care is critical for the well-being of your horse. Lameness is a significant problem in horses which can be caused by a variety of factors and can become serious if not addressed. Through the use of a locomotive examination, palpation, flexion/extension, and other diagnostic modalities, our goal is to pinpoint the source of your horse’s lameness and implement an appropriate treatment protocol.
FARM CALL
In addition to treating animals at our haul-in facility, we are also able to offer mobile veterinary services. We are equipped to travel to your place to take care of your equine health-care needs.
EMERGENCY CARE
We offer 24 hour emergency services in the case of colic, injury, dystocia, and other emergent large animal cases for our established clients.
